How do I save an article?

I download 50-60 articles at a time, then read them when away from internet access. Sometimes they get erased by accident. When I hit FILE, all I can do is SAVE AS- the SAVE button doesn’t work and the SAVE AS just gives me the article heading.

Let’s see if I understand, you go somewhere on the internet and download an article (or 50). Where you download them to?
Then you said they get erased. From where and how do they get erased?
Where are you saving the articles to when you click on save as? The only thing that will show in the file name will be the heading or the first words found on what you want to save.
“Save” only works if you have saved something already, then opened again and changed, this is when you would click save but only if you really want to save the article or document with the changes made otherwise rename the file and this will keep the original exactly as saved before.
